Stylish 1960’s small dark navy leather framed vintage handbag, with gold tone hardware. Made in England by quality maker Widegate of London (they made handbags for Harrods and other high end department stores). The bag is a lovely boxy shape and opens below the frame with a distinctive push clasp. It has decorative stitching on the front and a single handle and is fully lined in beige suede. The original matching suede coin purse is present. Inside there are two open pockets and a zipped pocket.
The general condition is excellent, with just a couple of small scratches on the back of the bag. The snap closure is tight.
Measures: width 21cm; height 16.cm; depth 9cm. Handle drop is 10cm from the top of the handle to the top of the bag.
